The Carols Challenge

23nd of December

With a few cups of mulled wine down, your characters signed up for a public karaoke contest (lyrics provided on a screen, of course), thinking it'll be all about carolling. Little do they know that other people get to pick what songs they should perform once onstage. So when it's time for the first character to shine, they find themselves forced to sing an outrageous modern Christmas song. To drag the other(s) into this embarrassment, they decide to use the other character(s) as props for their performance. Award for participating in this challenge: user posted image Go!

After the hotel fiasco involving the overbooking problem and the humiliating deal of wearing Miss Elf and Santa Claus costumes (the latter forced upon Zeph without leaving him much of a choice), Nana was glad she finally found a hotel room for the duration of her stay. Sleeping in the car or in the airport, as "practical" as Zeph had tried to make those ideas sound, irked her - why should she kill her back just because the travel agency or the hotel messed up her booking?
But with things now solved, she was free to enjoy her time however she saw fit.

If just so happened that the 23rd marked Addie's birthday and the eldest Belmont sibling happened to find herself in Vienna as well, with enough time to spare.
Two cups of mulled wine down - they were celebrating, after all - Nana only wondered how the hell she ended up on a stage when it was already too late, people in the audience cheering and encouragingly applauding.
"I'm tone deaf," she suddenly blurted out when her gaze found Addie. It was a lie but as long as it got her off the stage, it had to do. "I have stage fright," she tried again.
Had she ever mentioned being involved with the drama club kids? Well, nevermind that now. Maybe Addie wouldn't remember.
